Cheapest Consultation: £35

The cheapest standard consultation we found in London costs just £35 at select independent practices. The average across all 199 practices is £62, and the most expensive charges £102.

That's a 191% difference between the cheapest and most expensive consultation in the same city. For a 10-minute appointment.

Cheapest Vaccination: £21

Primary vaccination courses range from £21 to £170 across London. The average is around £103. The cheapest options tend to be at independent practices and charity clinics.

Cheapest Dog Neutering: £180

Male dog castration ranges from £180 to £500 in London. That's a potential saving of £320 just by choosing the right practice. Female dog spaying is even more varied: £200 to £750.

Cheapest Emergency Visit: £50

Emergency consultation fees range from £50 to £270. The average is £130. Worth knowing before you need it — you don't want to be googling prices during an emergency.

Cheapest Dental Clean: £154

Dental cleaning under anaesthetic varies wildly: £154 to £1,020. That's the single biggest price gap we found across any procedure. Always get quotes from at least 3 practices before booking dental work.
